My New Printer

I've never really had a decent printer before, and I've taken ₄₅₀₀ photo's in the past 4 years, and not printed a single one.

So, went to PC World yesterday morning, and got this:

I've got to admit, it's absolutely class, the quality of the prints is as good as proper photo's. It used 6 colours to print with, which makes the colours a lot more vivid.

:shock: looks very nice matt,i just take the mem card out the camera to the local print shop :lol: should buy a printer really but i dont take that many photos so it would only gather dust 😃

it's spot on, I'm really impressed. Only problem is that is £50 for a set of 6 inks for it, so I need to make sure I only print pics which I really want

that looks very nice Matt, i use a canon i965 for printing my photos and that uses seperate ink cartridges for each colour with either 5 or 6 in total.

I was going to get a cheaper one which only had 3 colours and black, but they showed me both print the same picture, and the difference was amazing. Those 2 other colours make one hell of a difference. Plus this one can print onto CD/DVD's, which is nice

I use the epson r200 which prints onto discs aswell, i get my ink from ebay.

It costs me under £10 for the 6 inks from pontyprinters:

They are epson compatible but are as good from the prints i have made, not sure if they do the r40 though.

Cheers for the link Craig. I was looking at the R200 as well, as PC world had it on offer for £50, but I was talked round into buying this one
