To 68mm or not to 68mm? That is the question!

Hi folks

I currently have an induction kit and cat-back custom exhaust fitted to my vx220.
I plan to de-cat it very sortly and I have a 2.4inlet in the shed waiting to go on the car. Do you think the LSJ 68mm TB would make any difference with this setup? I'm considering getting one from the group buy but not sure if it's worthwhile or not. The most I am going to do to the car in the future is possibly an Exhaust manifold and maybe cams if I'm feeling really adventurous so I'm not worried about future compatibility for SC or anything.

What do you think. Will it make a noticable difference?

you need a ported head, cams and a 4-1 before fitting the bigger 68mm tb

Welcome to the site
Is your induction kit a cone or an enclosed filter like a BMC?
Don't bother with the 68mm tb, you may notice some differance when you reach 200bhp+ but its not what is limiting your engine atm
but until then save your money for a 4-1 mainfold and some cams (piper re-grinds or comp cams)
