EML light on after egr cheater fitted.

Hi guys, need advice

Fitted the egr cheater last week and this morning the eml light came on. so pluged in and fault code p0404 (egr position) came up. under test it was running 1.39 volts active and inactive is this normal. Any ideas. notsure.gif

the voltage should change between 1 and 5 volts, is the +12v connected ok (red wire) as thats the trigger to alter the output

just checked, All the conections are fine. light only came on after about 60 miles after fitting.
