Loud knocking noise

Hi Everyone,

My car a Vec C 2.2 SRI has all of a sudden developed a loud knocking noise on what sounds to be the passenger front side. It also sometimes makes a twang sound when turning into a parking space?

Any help is much appreciated.

sounds to like a brocken coil spring if its making a twang noise when steering

Thanks for the replies.

It made the noise again when I was turning out the car park at work, it is actually a knock not twang. Also the noise appears to have changed a bit, it is now a plastic sounding knock when driving, quite loud. Almost feels as though something is loose.

Brother replaced both front anti-roll bar drop links last night and the noise has gone. Thanks for the advice guys. cheers..

Glad it's sorted mate, they are a really common and easy fault to fix.
