FOUND IT!Stuttering at 2000 rpm, cruise control doesn´t work

Hi guys...

iam very sorry for my English at first ... But trying to :buffer it :-)

Some weeks ago i made the conversion to the LE5 Manifold ( ahhh i have the 120 Amp cheers.. )

Everything sound good and the Power is available!

But after pressing the padle, stop pressing and fast pressing again the accelerator the engine is "Stuttering"??? "stutter" ??? "splutter" i don´t know the word notsure.gif

It feels like the engine gets of for a fraction of a second...

The cruise control dosn´t work very well at all... Doesn´t start very good and i Can not accelerate with it.... When i press the button the Cruise control gets off...

I realy tried to use the search button bit did not found a answer dunno..

it might be the map sensor not reacting fast enough, but did you allow the ecu to reset after fitting the 2.4 manifold and then drive carefully for 75Km dunno..

Iam sorry but how can i reset my ECU?

Carfully hmmm 10-15 km i think.... :wtf:

What a thought...

TB damage?
Fuel preasure?
Dirty injectors?
Bad contact to the injectors?

The plastic tunnel before the TB ... there is a sensor... For what is this sensor?

disconnect the battery for 20 minutes will reset the ecu, drive carefully for a while and the ecu will learn the new parameteres required for the 2.4 manifold

the plastic tunnel sensor is the air temperature sensor

I tried it...

But it didn´t work :-(

Yesterday i pushed my Car very hard from first to second and third and then liftet the pedal... after lifting it the engine stuttered...

Not during the acceleration only when I want to hold the speed or when i want to get slower...

Can it be the AGR?

I bought a "blind" plate for the engine and the AGR is "in the Air" next to the Engine... Is a AGR Cheater better?! dunno..

but what is a spare coilpack?

I thought that it has something to do with the petrol pressure??? Something wrong with the injection bar or the petrol pressure regulator? :?

what I meant was borrow another coilpack from someone

it could be a bad connection on one of the injectors, might be worth checking

coilpack is the black thing which covers the spark plugs, sometimes referred to as the coil or coil pack

Tomorrow I will remove the hole 2.4 and check it :-)

So yesterday i finaly removed the 2.4 manifold and filled the gasget between the 2+3 port with Silicone ( 300 cel. )...

in a cuple of minutes iam going to install everything again... hopefully it will now work without a little stutterer / dip at around 2.000 rpm... cryb..

two days ago i removed everything again for the "TÜV"... here in Germany every Car must be TÜV proved every 2 Years...

I fitted the old Manifold... BUT i did not found the EGR tube... :upyours:

so... original Manifold out... and the 2.4 again in... :lol:

after fitted everything a drove a litte bit... cruise controle dosn´t work... :evil:

Vocky told me that it can be the coilpack... i checked them... they were OK! hmmm

I thought but maybe Vocky is right and something is not ok with the fule preasure...

So I organized a new petrol pressure regulator ...

and now the Cuise controle is working perfekt!!!! And no more stuttering at 2.000 rpm!!!

A new fuel pressure regulator (Genuine Opel) will cost about 120, a adjustable will cost 49pound.

will this one fit to my car without any big modifications?
