Just reading a June issue of Auto Express, and they are saying for the new Astra J, VX are reviving the GSI badge, along side the VXR.

I'm not 100% sure yet, I need to see the VXR to make my mind up, as I wasn't a fan of the MK5 until I saw the VXR, as it's nothing like the base models.

Is the GSI using the same lump as the corsa vxr? You know what there like for reliability :roll: !

I think it will do. The MK5 Astra and the Insignia also use that engine.

Do the astra's and insignia's have the same problems?

Yeah, seen an Astra with piston 4 melted with a remap, but haven't seen an insignia yet, but haven't seen anyone map one of them yet, only the VXR and CDTI versions.

Thats not good then. Its bad engineering that VX will never admit to.

Are you looking at these for an upgrade?

No mate, still got at least another 4 years with the VXR, and I'm very happy with it.
