Hi guys,

I found this forum while searching for info on the sri 150 so since i am looking to get one so thought i would join up. 😃

I currently drive a rover 416

but i am selling after test driving the vectra, i have had a look at an x reg vectra today, is there anything to watch out for when looking at either the vectra or astra 2.2.

As normal, the lower miles engines are better to go for, but mine is a high miler with 109,000 and runs mint! It's best if the car has a good service history, so you know if it's been looked after. If you are not sure about the chain re work, you can always ask Vauxhall about it. If it's ok, I would still recommend you replace the cam chain for better peace of mind, knowing it's going to last you a long time! The 2.2 engine is a great engine, the one I have now is my first one and I love it Very Happy

The car in question was serviced up to 50k and has 78k on the clock now and just had a service.

The person selling it is my local mechanic who is into performance vauxhalls so no need to worry to much.
