heres my results not happy with them at all really 🙁 ,considering this rr i had standard airbox with the enlarged inlet pipe with cold air feed,and hoffman 200 cell sports cat remus centre wit the twin exits

and heres the one i had last year induction cone with same inlet pipe as above ,running standard cat with the rest of the exhaust the same as above

Sounded good tho, im even deafer now!

I think we need a list of all the figures to see if there is a patern.

the sports cat should add about 5-8bhp, have you removed the precat??
the enalrged pipework wont make any difference really, and the twin exit exhaust is probably sapping ur power as there is too much back pressure being lost, also as the car is nearly 10 yrs old, you lose about 1-2bhp every yr, so 141bhp with those mods is ok, sort the exhaust out and it will be better probs.
Mine was 176bhp when i sold it, have a look at my garage to see what i did to it..

yep pre cat has been removed.with the exhaust is it a case of ditching the twin set up and going for a decent cat back system or stick a silencer in the centre pipe to see if i gain a bit back like that.the bloke at the rr said that where it dips 6000 rpm getting a remap would take me to my expected figure
seen your mods jamee for so many little mods you got good gains

cat back all the way imo, a remap would help, but would only about 8-11bhp max. I dont think it was many little mods, i did quite a bit to it, but as me and daz did it all, didnt cost owt, only parts..ported TB, catback, precat gone, 2.4 inlet manifold, pipercross filter, enlarged pipework, etc, quite a list...with piper cams, and a remap, it would have been around 200bhp easy..

So Lee has 141.9, and Jason has got almost exactly the same with 141.5......they even look the same with the way they are plotted! Could it be the exhaust then??

regarding the exhaust i wouldnt know as it was the only rr day i have ever been too so didnt have a comparison to go by

thats interesting to see lee ,as much as i love the exhaust it might be time for a new set up

Even the torque is only 2 lb-ft difference between the two graphs.

Jason - do you have the other sheets that show you the maximum wheel HP?

Ah, that's a shame, because the other ones show the wheel HP, which is what the rollers are recording, and what they have calculated the transmission loss with.

Just wanted to see what the WHP was compared to your previous one

So looking at that, I'd say the Kings Lynn RR results were VERY optimistic, as you've got 117.5 WHP yesterday, but only 111.3 WHP last time.

The Lynn results aren't very good. You got more power yesterday at the wheels of your car. The flywheel figure is calculated from the transmission loss to the wheels.

Based on you getting 111.3 WHP in Kings Lynn, given they they said you had 152.4 bhp at the fly, that is a transmission loss of almost 37%!

Average transmission loss is 15%-18%......they calculated your loss yesterday at 20.7%, which isn't far wrong for a 10 year old car.
