im running hid in all my driving lights and have had no problems up to now, ive run them for a few years on different vehicals and have never suffered alt or batt problems, like vocky has said just put it down to age. there are a few back street workshops scattered about that recon these in a few hours and offer a guarantee some of them pretty cheap as they just want the trade.
