as above really,
i thought maybe my battery was struggling to cope as its had a lot of abuse over the build, and has been discharged and charged a lot.
so i fitted a new battery today and it started but was lazy,
now it'll turn over a couple of times but not enough to start as if the new battery is low. ive taken it for a 20mile drive and still dead
it'll bump start but failed to jump start (although the neighbours car battery is tiny!)
presumably if i had no alternator i would just grind to a halt sooner or later, so im leaning towards the starter motor, notsure.gif
are they servicable? (can i whip the brushes out and clean inside)
