My name is Mike, 25 and come from Harwich, Essex. I've not long brought a 2001 Vectra SRi 2.2 150 (Hence why I'm here lol) Few piccies 😃
This is the car when I took it out for a test drive and left a deposit
Following day I was out cleaning is as I don't think the previous owner did! :problem:
Some of the rubbish removed from inside
The products used for the first clean were:
Meguiars Gold class shampoo
Meguiars Clay
Autoglym Super resin polish
Poor boys natty paste wax
Machine polish followed few weeks later. Had to replace the drivers door due to rust and fix a broken wire on the IAT (Think thats what it is?) but so far so good!
So thats where I am so far. I will be after loads of information about the engine and ask all sorts of questions! And I have one already!
Looks like the rocker cover gasket is past its best as it looks rather oily around that area?! Is this a common problem? Could anyone give me some links to a good place to buy a replacement? Tried ebay but nothing and not had a chance to get to Vauxhall.
