Replacing Suspension componants

Hey all
very soon ill be upgrading my suspension, ive got a list of what i have and going to be getting, if anyone wants to advise of anything i should replace whilst im doing it please tell me..

Eibach Sportline springs
Bilstein B8's all round (from LMF vauxhall, was going to get B4's but decided to save for a little more and go all out 😃 )
Powerflex front and rear control arm bushes
Powerflex engine mount bush
Camber bolts for the front (from LMF Vauxhall)
Adjustable ARB Drop Links (from LMF Vauxhall)
HPX brake pads all round
Two New Tyes (as the inside edge on the fronts ar forked)

Thats the list so far, If you think there is and important item ive missed which should be replace please tell me as i would like to do it all over one or two days..

how about some braided brake pipes while ya got it all stripped??

Does replacing them do any thing apart from visual enhancement? Do the original brake lines wear at all?

braided brake hose don't expand so you get a firmer pedal and also shouldn't let as much moisture into the brake fluid like rubber does

Might consider it, how much are they? is it a hard job? were did you get them from?

Hmm, @ 70 pound i might give it a miss for now, that would seem more like a luxury then a necessity for me atm, might be a future upgrade..
But thanks for the input, ill add it to my wish list..

what do drop links do?
& why do i need adjustable ones?

I believe that the Eibach Sportline springs drop the car around 45mm (correct me if im wrong) and ive been reading that if the car drops below 40mm you have to use shorter drop links as the originals are to long and wont hold the ARB in place properly..

Quick update, have decided to get Bilsteins B8's instead of the Boge's...hopefully should take the driving experience to a whole new level and should be a whole lot better 😃
The Boge's werent a lowered shock and thought that they might wear out faster then proper shocks to suit the springs.

Just waiting on shocks to arrive and then will be able to start fitting.
Just a question though, will i have to fit a ' strut brace ' ?
i stumbled across another members car that got eibach pro line springs and koni adjustables and he had a strut brace fitted.

Maybe you only need it for adjustables?

Finally everything has arrived 😃

Ive installed the Powerflex engine mount the other week, gears 2 and 3 are lot smoother, not as crunchy. I installed the lower control arm bushes this weekend just past, cant say i feel much difference from the original bushes, the rubber ones i took out still felt and looked ok.

Hopefully get the shocks and springs in this weekend, am expecting it to feel alot stiffer around corners and a more firmer ride all together.
