Yeah they are pricey because they are billet (and are even pricey for billet ones...).
For the low power stuff, indeed, but that's simply because they were never installed and mapped as they should as they make power high in the revs and noone is (was) able to map the OE ECU correctly and have the limiter high enough.
When you look at the full specs though, they are just a (small) bit stronger than Comp stage 3's (bit higher lift and a bit less duration).
As you said, this is a reputation 😃
(but in truth as I didn't dynoed recently I can't proove it wrong by numbers)
