hi mate,
dont panic yet,
the click and smoke could be your starter motor solenoid as this is on the front of the engine
and would stop the starter engaging giving you the fast spinning noise,
you will need a new starter motor!
as for the spanner light flashing;
this only happens when your immobiliser has a fault,
7/10 times it means that your transponder chip has fallen out of your key,
has the key come apart at any time?
if so, check the area that it came apart and look for a small black chip,
(about 7mm X 4mm)
usualy your drivers side floor carpet is where its sat as the key comes apart when you remove the key from theignition barrel!
