crack in exhaust manifold

Hi,

I would like to know what symptoms you would get from a cracked manifold please?

Reason i ask is because i have a crack in mine and noticed stuff like revs raising when cold and hesitant through the rev range especially when cold.

A cracked exhaust manifold sounds just like an exhaust blow from the front and you also use a bit more fuel depending how hard/fast you drive

that will explain me sitting there after starting the car and wondering what is that smell 😃

ive mannaged to source one off ebay just need the time to fit now.

out of interest would it make the engine sound like its pulsing for the first thew secconds on start up? and would it effect the lambda?

its what it sounds like but i havent thought about looking at the rev counter.

maybe theres another problem but i will have to change the manifold first to see what differences it will do.
