hello all
i was just wondering if anyone could help as i am a total novice when it comes to engines n mechanics,
i own an 02 astra 2.2 sri,i took it to vauxhall motorbodies for an M.O.T and service,(when i dropped it off there were no leaks or any problems what so ever)it needed a new centre part for the exhaust to pass,they kept the car 5 wks while tryin to get the part,finally they got it but to put it on they needed some metal cutting for some reason so had to drive it to a specialist place which was prob a 30 mile round trip,
after finally gettin it all sorted they re-tested n passed it and gave it a full service,i paid and collected the car,drove it about a mile and a half to where i live,it was barely warm but as it sat on the drive i noticed the coolant/water leakin out,i took it back that same night n they checked it the day after and told me the cylinder head had cracked!!!
could this be somethin they have done?
any help would be very much apprieciated as i dont know if i should be tryin to get them to sort it or if i just have to bite the bullit n pay up!
