I am trying to get these cut out of 3 or 4 mm mild steel sheet metal of anyone has access to the tools or machine to do it.

ill have a word with my boss, i might be pushing it a bit at my place their quite tight with their material but weve definately got the machines, how many do you need? what are the tolerances? does it matter having rads in the corners?
no need for a cad drawing,i can make a solid model up on solidcam in seconds for that.
ill let you know for sure probably thurs as i have a funeral tomorrow.

i need 2 of them, what you mean rads in corners? the circle cant be any smaller or bigger and prongs cant be smaller.
these are the top mounts for masking a strut brace on the mk4.

the red bits in the corners, it just makes it easier to machine quickly as we have no overtime at the mo when i can do it, so ill have to crack on in me lunch.
i can bang a program together pretty quickly.

havent a clue really i certainly dont want labour rates!
basicly if im honest the material is going to be free, i asked offered to pay, which they excepted and then when it came to working it out it was so much hassle so they gave up! :thumbup:
i just love making stuff!
how much would they normally cost? gotta be half of that or less if its stupidly expensive! oh + p&p :lol:
im on training on monday tues & weswhich means while im working i wont have time to set any work jobs up, so theory being the machine or one of em will be free at lunch, they can probably be done by wednesday. :thumbup:

oh and by the way, with a 105mm diameter outer ring and 70mm dia, inner ring you can only have a 17.5mm wall thickness,
let me know if you wan the outer diameter raised to 106 if the 18mm is important

Hi .05 mm ain't going ti make much off difference.
You can't actually buy theses so this is a one off custom bit.

Top mounts for a strut brace. As all the strut braces on the Market won't fit around my bonnet and all just get in the way.

excuse the really poor quality photo but ive lost the usb lead for my phone so its an mms to my email as i cant work out how to get my phones e-mail to work!!!

do you want any engraving on it or anything like that?

Wow mate Mega impressed. When you look at it like that when u can see how much work goes in to it all.

hello mate just a quick to say i wont have em in the post till next week as the machine was working yesterday and i have to leave for the dentists early today.
the second one is started, and i want to grind em both before i send em off, cheers :thumbup:
