Dbilas Flowmaster

Hey all,

I'm going to fit the Dbilas Flowmaster i bought from Adam (Lightning coupe) tommorow,I also think i am going to have a go at polishing the TB at the same time,i will let you all know how i get on and if there is much of a difference after driving.
P.S I also wanted to say what a top bloke Adam (Lightning coupe) is :thumbup: Cheers pal for all your help!

Just thought i would give an update,
Got it all fitted and polished the TB this morning, regarding any difference to the drive i would say it revs a lot more freely,it seems to have smoother acceleration through out the revs where as before the power wouldnt really kick in till about 3000rpm, only done about 5 miles though so will see how it goes when the ECU settles down. :thumbup:

Looks good m8.......a bit off topic now, ure cars the same colour as mine, how much diff in colour is the paint on the plastic parts compared to the steel ones....

I want one, they look cool in the engine bay don't they? The air scoop at the front is massive aswell, was it difficult to fit?

Yes Daz there is a slight difference in colour on the plastic parts but ive noticed that on every orange one i've seen.
mazza 2.2 it was a piece of piss to fit.

Needs adjusting slightly as its not sitting as well as it was in lightning coupes car, looks a tad skew, other than that bargain!

I might have to purchase one of those one day 😃 Im stuck with the K&N cone filtter for the mean time 🙁

sg_williams i had to position it like that so that the sensor doesnt pull out of the intake to the TB,there isnt much slack in the wiring.

oh. cant you do anything? sat ok in its previous car i thought?

It similer to havin the vectra c intake..jus less pipe work shorter route to tb. got a seriously sharp angle on the pipework
