all was fine with the car till drive home today and the exhaust emission light came on 🙁 .

not sure what this means but reading the vauxhall book it says about a fault in the emmision control system ?

any ideas what it could be ? car seems to drive fine and tick over is same as it was ?

Usual suspect is P0420 cat efficncy below requirements, used to get in on my vec all the time....

what would this mean to put it right then daz ? i need the car for work monday thats all i dont want to drive it if its going to do more damage ?

if its that code it jsut saying the cat is not working as efficently as it shud be.....

does it have a 200 cell cat?...as some of them will cause the light ot come on.....if now it may be the rear llamnda sensor or the cat at fault....shud have no issues using the car tho gaz

also how much are fault code readers ? and are they easy to use ?

I've got opcom now....can pick them up off ebay for around £20-£30 but u need a laptop to use it....and are quite straight forward to use....

regarding if it has a 200 cel cat, has it been tinkered with b4?....

no real idea if it has been tinkered with or not daz everying like airbox and exhaust and no sports filter so i would say all standard ?
i have a laptop i can use to read the faults no probs there do you have a link to the oner you have may aswell buy my own as a garage will prob charge £10 or so to read the faults ?

mine was here from china in 4 days.....quicker than some things ive ordered from the uk.....

make sure its firmwre 1.39... thats does the latest vx's too
