Well I'm not getting the map anyway, as I'd want it mapped to the sports button, which Courtenay sport can do.

The money I've got is going on getting the drivers seat sorted.

So to get the power output 238BHP that Vx qoute, this car has to be remapped? :think: i can understand the Nurnburgring Edition having a remap as standard to accomodate for the remus exhaust minus precat. 🙂

As far as I know, the VXR isn't mapped as standard. 238bhp is the standard map. Courtenay Stage 1 map which can be done with no other modifications gives _25bhp more.
Stage 1.5 is with a pre-cat de-cat and cat-back exhaust. Stage 2 is the Remus, which the burg has, and stage with map is done with Remus and FMIC.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, and i like the idea of having the remap done to your sport button.

The 888 Astra diesel gets this done to it, off the sport button all round driving is improved with better throttle response. On the Sport Button it unleashes 200BHP from it. 😃
Hopefully Courtenay can give you the same treatment. :thumbup:

the vxr has a better map than a z20lel / ler, vauxhall went as far as they could go whilst retaining reliability

plus you really need to change the exhaust before getting a remap, the slippery slope awaits :lol:

The LEL/LER use a different turbo to the LEH. They also have a smaller exhaust as standard. The LEH is 2.5" from factory. LEH has the balancer shaft deleted, LEH/LER doesn't. They also don't have under piston cooling which the LEH has, or the forged pistons.

In addition the LEH has the VXR injectors wih are better than the LET/LER.

Loads of people are now going for the Scorpion 3" system, as it's several hundred £ cheaper than the Remus.

lol, I was only considering it given the low price. I can't justify what Courtenay want at the minute.
