nial24 Is it any more difficult for a mecanic than same engine on an astra or vectra? Does the clam need to come off? And finally iv just ordered the cam chain kit plus all the gaskets and things I need but does the kit come with the updated oil jet? Thanks for any help. Nial.
cavaddict I would say it would be harder on this car due to the restricted space. Sure clam would have to be removed (others will know better) and yes the kit should come with the new style jet.
benny it is harder todo a vx220 chain than any other 2.2 chain engine due to the limited space and the way the car is made and the fact its a plasstic car ......also the engine mounts and under trays are a swine to remove when doing it on the ground i am looking at investing in the dumb weight to allow the cars to be placed on a two post ramp ....but there loads and loads
