Injector identification?

How are the injectors identified on the 22? Is it done my colour like on the old Cavs? ie, red one's were the one to have. Or, is there a more scientific method these days? I ask cos i may need larger ones as my engine modding progresses. 😃

yes they are colour coded, i believe the z22se ones are grey the z20net are sky blue and z20let ones are green.(i could be wrong on z20let!)
i know on aftermarket ecu all your interested in is the flowrates (z20net i think are 268cc/min iirc)
so i guess you need to know wha kind of power can be achieved with each set, for instance the blue injectors will be good enough for 220bhp and beyond how far you can push em i dont know. notsure.gif
im sure some of the chaps who have gone down this road can elaborate further. :thumbup:

Sooooo, does anyone out there know what injectors should be matched to what anticipated power output?

I did a lot of searching on this one and collected my findings on:

I guess there could be errors in the data, it is mostly from the internet. No own measurements etc. But it might prove a useful starting point..
