dan2211 Hey all, I'm gonna get my cam chain done at some stage in the near future, but what i wanna know is what does the balance shaft chain do? is it essential to replace it at same time as timing chain too, or can i just do the cam chain on its own????
vocky depends on the mileage, but it should be changed at 100,000 miles with the timing chain to replace it you need to remove the timing chain, so best to get them done at the same time
