Seat airbag removal.

Just a quickie....gonna be changing the totally minging seats in a Veccy est i've got and the ones i've got for it dont have the airbags in em. Is this going to give me a problem or do i have to wire the airbag out somehow? dunno..

Think you may have to change the air bag ecu as it will put the light on as it ixpecting to see 2 dash air bags and 2 seat ones you will need a control unit fron a veccy that only has dash air bags if that makes sence notsure.gif :razz:

If you can get onto a tech2, you will be able to disable the seat airbags from the ecu so you won't have a light come on.

Otherwise iirc you can place a 5ohm resistor in place of the airbag on the wiring

or just remove the ab from your old seats and retro fit them into your new ones.
