Got a zafira on an 2003 50k vauxhall says it needs cat and up & downstream labmdas as flex is spliting and also new ecu?
Car will start after a few attempts but only idle when you rev it splutters and dies if it decides to rev up occasionally then it still splutters and dies again.
Car used to only do it when hot but does it now from cold.
Errors P1120 throttle position sensor malfunction & P1220 throttle position sensor track 2 circuit malfunction.
I have replaced with new plugs, cooland sensor, coil pack, fuel filter, cat & lambdas.
I have an astra coupe with same engine and runs 100% i have swapped ecu, transponder, chip then throttle body, egr & accelarator pedal and is still the same.
There is no pre cat, cat has been unbolted and exhaust is not blocked and still will not rev up.
Have checked wires best i can for shorts/breaks etc and all looks fine.
The astra works fine with all the zafira parts on it.
Any one have any idea, as thinking injectors? or the seperate ecu that controls them??
Would have thought from the error codes that swapping pedal and throttle body would solve it.
