Hi all mates: I'm in a mind-trouble, and need some light hehe. That's my headache... i have an astra coupe with a healthy Z22SE engine, with few mods,,, 4-1 friedrich Msport exhaust manifold, precat & cat supressor, middle silencer suppressed and Duramas sport tail silencer. Egr anulated and BMC CDA with a Ram-Air intake. the car runs well and sounds amazing, i'm looking for increase the horsepower, following as possible our topics of the "steps to making N/A power" the car runs well, about 7 and a little to 100kmh, and full cut out injection in 5th gear without downhill. all looks ok but... I'm in the possibility to buy and handmount a Z20let into my astra, that's 205bhp aprx serial power, and with the typical K04 turbo from astra OPC,exhaust, big injectors, big IC and chiptuning, runs about 270 -280horsepower, spending about 2000euro. I read that the supercharger project of any members reach 350brakehorsepower, and it seems that the Z22se can cach a high end top horsepower than the LET.
And thats my headache, What you think it's more efficient, cheaper and durable, way to reach around 260brakehorsepower? the Z20Let tunned or the Z22SE heavyworked?
