I've been following Z22SE for over a year now, ever since I bought my 2.2l Astra G and what a phenomenol car it is! Sporty, understated, dead quiet.
I was out to buy a second-hand 2.0l Veccy from an Opel dealership, cos that's what I used to own back in Blighty but the bloke didn't have any in on the day. But he did have a 2.2l Astra G. I said nah. Decided to save my pennies.
3 months later, saw the same 2.2l Astra, ignored it and took a 2.0l Veccy for a spin. Very nice indeed! Thought I'd take the 2.2l Astra for a spin too. ZOMG! What a difference! Bought it on the spot after some major hagglin.
So, I've had the car now for over 2 years now and after scorching the tyres a bit, I'm up for modding the engine.
