well not even a year later and she's smoking again, drinking oil then burning it,blue smoke 🙁
im a bit stuck on what to do now though as i aint putting a new turbo on and i dont wanna have mine re'coned again to find it will do it again in another 6+months.
was thinking of a turbo timer but read lots of possitive and negatives about them as engine will idle at 90C then shut off with no air being forced to cool turbo causing oil to rest in turbo seals , is this right, is a timer worth it.
there aint any places round here in sheffiled that can give a definate answer to the cause as they asume it's a n/a car then i go on to tell em it's a turbo and then there like o this is the first one we have seen 🙁
it used all the oil it had in it when it all got repaired, put another 5ltr in and now and well it's just burning off,
so blue smoke on start up, idle, setting off from idle i.e lights e.c.t
no loss in power
no change in fuel compsumption
so any other possible cause for the turbo to go so quick, assuming it has blown seals again.
