Recording Call of Duty Clips?

Whats the best way to record Call of Duty clips from my PS3 so I can upload them to YouTube? Loads of people do this, so I fancy doing it as well as I have some good games some days. I think I might need a video capture card for start dunno..

Or would I be better off recording it onto a DVD recorder with HDD and hook it up to my PS3?

You'll need a video capture card in your PC. Something like the one I'm using for my CCTV will do the job.

What leads would I need for that then Matt, a usb to video card lead of some sort? Is it a cheaper way to go about this than a dvd recorder? How much would I be looking to spend for a decent video card? Cheers

You just need the yellow video cable, and one for the sound (normally the White one for mono recording). Not sure how it would come out of the PS3 or the TV, but there must be guides in the net for recording off it.

My USB card was only £9 from amazon.

I wonder if I could just hook up a lead from my ps3 to pc and record it through windows movie maker. Ie the lead would go from the yellow and white ports on my ps3 then go to usb on my pc?
