Hello everyone - I've just replaced the cam chain on my Z22SE although I haven't yet put the oil pump on. I've turned the engine a few times on the crank pulley but there seems to be a bit of slack in the chain.
My initial thoughts are that it's just the tensioner not being charged with oil yet - is this normal and will it take up the slack once I get it running? Or would I be wise to turn the engine on the starter a bit before I fore it up, just to get the oil moving and charge up the tensioner?
Any advice appreciated!
