jm2000 I noticed since i bought the car (Vectra 2.2 2001) it smells like its running rich. Any ideas please. Thanks Jason.
BURT150 It could be the front lambda sensor before the cat dunno.. When does it smell? cold start? after a good hamering or just all the time? Mine goes mega rich at wide open throttle in open loop and i think thats the case with all standard z22se's.

As to when, ist sparadic, it comes and goes, is it usual, only had the car a week. Thanks Jason
BURT150 I dont really know if its usual. Keep an eye on your MPG and you should get about 30-35mpg on a steady run. If its alot less than that It could be your lambda sensor. Do a search for open and closed loop, i understand what they meen but im not very good at explaining it :oops:
