tuning AEM F/IC for new injectors

hello,

just fitted some new injectors provided by the previous owner, unsure of their specs but put them in and the a/f ratio sits at around 10:1 at idle, therefore extremely rich!!

the car also has an AEM fuel and ignition controller, and i cut out the injectors by approx 50% and the car idles fine for a while, then either misfires or cuts out altogether...

i have very limited experience with tuning these piggybacks, so anyone with experience, you assistance wil be greatly appreciated!!!

car is a Z22SE Astra SRi

I had a Apexi AFC2 for a little while and never managed to get it working rite i dont think there the very good on these cars.

Why did you need bigger injectors? I think the standard ones are good for 200bhp :think:

If your getting that much trouble with them take them off.

from what i was told, the standard injectors were maxing out at 80% duty cycle... and the car should be around to 200hp mark so i'd say they're at the limit.

have a set of Z20LET injectors waiting to go in over the weekend....
