Many thanks to sophos9 for pointing this nice little addition out. I've installed the TapaTalk extension which provided naitive iphone support via their own app.

I've been testing it using their free version, and I'm just purchasing the paid one, which allows a lot more features.

Tapatalk is a forum app on the iPhone, Android, webOS, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry. Tapatalk Forum App provides super fast on-the-go forum access to majority of the discussion forums that has activated the Tapatalk plugin.

Showing New and Unread Thread with Avatar and Number of reply:

Images are thread are converted to thumbnail and allow full-screen viewing

Ability to see Who's Online and what they are doing:

Ability to search by topics and posts:

just tried it but find it easier just to use the normal brouser on my phone

I quite like it. Using it now, and the paid for version is much better than the free one. It's just something else to allow people to access the site.

Been using it today as well. Much faster on my iphone than using Safari.

Great work enabling this, native smartphone access is awesome. Check out the updated Tapatalk iPhone client in the next few days (app store update), you will have enabled landscape viewing 😉

Just been testing the forum and its all running sweet. The plugin should also cover android and blackberry, I've got both those users on my forum and it seems to work good for them, blackberry is a bit buggy as its only in beta

Only thing I don't like is when uploading an image, it wants to crop it square, rather than the actual shape of the iPhone screen

Just got tapatalk om my iphone 2.

Must say the site seems to load alot faster than in safari

Thanks mate. Just had a play with some of the settings to see if there was anything regarding the image sizes. I know that the image upload is something which has been mentioned before while we were discussing using the site via the iPhone and safari. Would be better if it didn't have to be cropped. Other than that, I'm really liking using it ;-)

Just updated the TapaTalk code to the latest version.

Just update the app on the iphone....few issues sorted out apprently....

I've just updated as well. I had it crashing when loading threads with quite a few images in it. Doesn't seem to do it anymore.

Updates app and code seems to be a lot more stable. Not had a crash since updating.
