hello all
my astra has been parked up for 5weeks. i have tried to start it and nothing, so got a new battery. nothing. called the aa, the guy said there is no compresson. so he has taken it to a garage 16miles away. the garrage called me after a week and said i need alot of work done the timming chain could be snapped and will cost 2k to fix as he has to take the engein out. what do i do? i am in the middle of scottland and it will cost alot to get the car to edinburgh or glasgow.
