I've got the chance to purchase the 5 hose kit in black for £100. Are these really worth it, or just for looks?

all for looks really matt, people say the standard hoses suck in but never seen it yet dunno..
only prob they are black not brightly coloured, never seen the pint in buying black ones when the standard ones are black .

That is what I was thinking. I'd ideally want some blue ones to go with the car, but £100 is almost £60 cheaper, and they are brand new and never used. Think I'll just wait and get the ones I really want (Roose Motorsport ones 😃)

Yeah, the quality looks a lot better on the Roose ones from what I've seen. You also get more hoses, 7 rather than the 5 supplies elsewhere. You get the two extra intercooler pipes:

matt get roose ones mate they are great quality, courts ones are probably samco and the are crap hoses!

That's made my mind up then. Roose ones will be purchased in a couple of months.

i had the thurlby sport hsoes on the cdti and they are samco, and the oil used to come through the hoses!

I've seen that on the breather hose they sell for the LE* engine. From what I've read, Roose is the only one which doesn't allow oil to seep through, which is probably why it costs £20 as opposed to the other makes @ £12

no matt looks boring, my mate had them fitted for his coupe turbo and the hose between the air mass sensor and cross over sucked its self in, its bad.

matt thay look the same as the thurlby hoses which arre samco and the are crap for boost hoses!

He sold the hoses to someone else anyway. Going to wait until my birthday in September, and either get the Roose hoses, or a pre-cat de-cat pipe.

Hi guys

Went to pcs 2010 yesterday and spoke to chris at regal regarding hose sets for the z22se. If we can get 10 orders/ deposits they can get them made up for us. I just need to send over the faux part numbers can at least ten of you express an interest ?

Also this applies to tubular manifolds
