cheers johnny, i've read the thread tho and you say that the LMF one is a copy and not very nice, i know the thread is from 2008, is this still the case?
you would recommend the mod tho?

Sorry Nick, I do believe that LMF have since updated their short shift for a different design and from what i've seen over the recent months, they do look nice. As for the mod itself, I would certainly recommend this.

ive got one as well.
the instructions are awful!

it is a pain replacing the standard selector with a short shifter

the tricky bit is the plastic clips that connect the cable linkage to the selector - u need a long thin screwdriver and carefully prise it out and upwards

i spent ages tweaking my short shifter to get a smooth 1/2/3 lol

yeah, the ways the bids are going i'd rather pay LMF and get it new & make sure its right!
