astra 2.2sri oil leak

hello all im new to the forum not sure this is the rite place to ask but i will anyway 😃 . ive got an astra 2.2sri and its got a cracked head at the back between no3 and 4 exhaust ports is this common or am i just unlucky. i am looking for a secondhand head and dont want to end up with the same problem. any help appreciated........................Darren

Typically they break due to the taper fit sparkplugs being crammed in. Under normal operating circumstances, there should be no problems at all. They are a nice engine :thumbup:

got a head off ATOM X many thanks to a great fella😃 . just got to get the chains bolts and gaskets now and lap the valves in. then the rebuild will begin.............Darren
