sticking brake caliper

drivers side front caliper sticking on on car theres a split in the rubber boot that covers the pistons so i quess thats the reason and as i dont use car that much thats not gonna help.i did manage to free up on sat and seems ok at the mo but quessing this will only be a temp fix.question is can you get kits to refurb the calipers or is it just not worth it?if you have to replace is it best to do both sides or just side thats sticking and what sort of cost are front calipers supply only as i will fit cheers..

You can get the whole caliper on exchange with your old one or you can buy new seals then strip it clean up the bore and piston then refit it.

Exchange calipers from motorfactors or dealers

Seals are from the dealer only i think.

Wichever way you choose its best to do both sides just for peace of mind.

They usually clean up well, all the sticky ones ive seen are due to rust on the piston itself.
