Baz right guys i need some help my alarm keeps going of and i want it to stop if i turn the alarm of there like a quiet alarm going of near the front passanger side and this is whats setting the alarm of how do i fix this cause i cant leave the car open all night
Baz The quiet alarm in the passenger wheel arch is the power sounder thats a common problem on the astra g with a factory alarm. You could strip down the whole wheel arch and remove it while the ignition is switched on but for tonight i'd recomend the following...... Start the car and wind down the drivers window, standing outside with the door shut switch the engine off and then lock the car with the key in the door holding it to the close postion to shut the open window. You won't be able to deadlock it though done this it seems to work
Gazza mine was doing the same a month or so ago and is fine again know,but i have bought a secound hand one just in case it goes again,aparantly it's the batteries that go in them,but you can replace them so if mine goes again i will replace mine so i allways have a spare 😃
Gazza no mate it has to come off. it's on 2 screws i think ?you dont have to remove it fully just releasse the one side and fold it back
Baz if i take the batteries out will my central locking still work or do i have to replace the batteries notsure.gif

Baz will order some as quick as ive got the car looked but the power sounder keeps making that annoying noise for about 20secs goes of for a min then goes back on like a siren noise :evil:
Gazza yea they are prone to go on the astra g so i beleave notsure.gif like i said it's worh getting a spare usally one on ebay,and they only take 30 mins to change,bettter than keep the neighbours up

Baz right guys need help quick i aint got my new batts for the alarma nd the sounder keeps going of every 5 mins is her any way of turrning it of as the police say if it isnt of soon they are going to move the car and give me a bill for £140
Mark_Dj Yes, push the drivers button down from the passenger side and close the door. This will lock up your car without putting your car alarm on.
Baz yeah thats ok but the power sounder still makes its whinning noise and i want to get it to feck before the car gets lifted 🙁
