crankshaft oil seal

hi all
would like to know if some one can answer this , how long would it take to change the oil seal.i bought the car a few weeks back after a couple of days noticed the leak so tuk back were i bought it from they said it will only take 3 hrs would this be about right as i am having to pay half labour costs hence the three hours(that's how long they told me it would take),i have also been told its a good time to change timing chain but funds wont go that far as yet.

Can do the chain in 3-4 hrs.....book time is 6 i think..... ure half way to changing the chain when doin the seal.....

If i was to do the seal alone i wud say its 1- 1.5 hrs.....
