service time oops....

going to do a service on my vectra c 2.2 sri 53 plate this weekend. gonna change oil ,oil filter ,coolant and plugs. just wandered if anyone has any advice as im not looking forward to doing the plugs cos of what ive read on here lol.By the way i dont have a torque wrench so im crapping myself lol.

found my old torque wrench thank god lol. dont suppose any one has any pics of how to get to the plugs have they.....

surely you cant damage the head removing the old plugs.....is it just over tighting the new ones that does the damage.. if this is the case hand tight will do for me.

if the old plugs are seized then yes u could crack the head by putting 2 much pressure on the threads especially if the head is warm

or my god lol.... the easiest thing to do is sometimes the hardest. :thumbdown: if they are solid im gonna leave them alone. the cars done 58,000 but not gonna end up with a broke head for a set of plugs....

service done with no probs. plugs came out easy so was well happy.couldnt believe the state of the oil filter though, as soon as i touched it it fell in bits lol.previous owner cant of serviced for a while.....
