This manifold shape will give more torque in the high revs, am I right?
Because of short intake air route.

Im not sure yet but time will tell.

Probably more lower and mid range torque and/ or even it out across the rev range.

That is a guess tho and ill find out with a before and after dyno run :thumbup:

Little bit more progress 🙂 and a couple of pics of the inlets on the new head.

Iv got the runers smothed out in the plenum and made up an outlet for the oil breather. So not long now and ill hopefully be able to weld it up.

Im going to see what i get at the RR first with my car as it is then ill get another power run to see what i gain from it.

In all honesty i cant see it gaining much but with other mods such as cams and head work and or raised compression it should work well 😃

Last final bits sorted so all thats left is the welding then ill work out all the take offs and try and relocate the ecu.

I made up a 8mm T/B flange and bit of a block to tap some pipe fittings and map sensor into 🙂

I put the block on the underside of the manifold hopefully that'l keep it tidy in the engine bay.

Im Looking forward to getting it fitted now. might even see it at the RR day :think:

Yay finaly finished 😃

My new place of work decided to buy a tig welder to raise there standards a bit and very kindly let me use it for a homer.

So its now all finished cleaned up and fittings taped into it . Final step before fitting it to get the flanges faced up wich ill get done at the same time my new head goes to the machine shop.Also found out theres one just down the road from where i work wich is good.

So there we have it. Im happy with how it turned out. Its just a shame the flanges pulled while welding else it would be fitted now but best to wait and know it'l be spot on :wink:
