Reset Service INSP

put key in
held down trip button
switched key once (still holding button)
insp with - - - - should appear
pressed the brake pedal
then 19000 appeared
release brake pedal
let go off the button and turned off

It's different on the MK4

Press and hold the button below the speedometer
Switch ignition ON
The letter ‘INSP’ will appear in the display for 2 seconds
Keep the Reset button held until ‘---‘appears in the display
Release button
Switch ignition off
