2.2 v GSi

Had a bit of a boy racer moment today, found myself looking heads with a 1992 Cavalier GSi.

Both cars were evening matched through rolling starts and from stand still, what engines is these, is it just a 2.0L.

I was a little disappointed that I couldn't pull away.

yup its 2ltr m8, will be a c20xe or often called the redtop,150bhp as standard,.

as Daz said they are 150bhp engines and tunning parts are quite easy to get for these engines, was it a standard car?

I kept up with a 2.0 Gsi Cav in my old 2.2 🙂. He could not shake me..........
