I've yet to see a genuine head gasket failure on the X25XE or X30XE, seen many many badly diagnosed reports of people changing head gaskets...
The X25XE is a good engine and can easily handle high miles, flywheels weigh a tonne which makes lazy driving but good torque. Front wishbones wear out fast, oil cooler needs to be replaced with a stainless steel one, oil cooler plates/thermostat/coolant bridge leaks, oil leak from oil coolant pipework unions.
