If you have play in the steering wheel its likely to be the joint between the colom and rack and you can tell if its track rod ends by jacking the front up and hold the track rod with one hand and rock the wheel side to side and you should be able to feel if its the iner joints or outers :thumbup:

Ive not long done the iner track rod ends on my vec with zf rack and its not that bad to do, i think that'l be the worst job too.
