rear brake pa change help!

Does anyone know how to change the rear brake pads on a Vec 2.2. sri 150 (vec B 2001)?

is it a case of knocking the pins out? On my Focus you have ro remove the callipar, but the vec had a solic brake cable into it. and seems to have drum/disc combo brakes.

Help please, iv'e only had the car a few months and there are NO pads on the rear.

I think these have wind back calipers on the rear if they are Bosch ones (mine are wind back anyway).

The rears are disk with pads and shoes on the inside for the handbrake. there are 2 18mm socket size bolts behind the caliper that need to be removed along with the brake pipe bracket on the trailing arm then the caliper can be moved off the disk to change the pads.

In the unlikely event everything is clean ie no rust, the pads will come out without removing the calliper, done it twice.
You can prise back the pistons before removing calliper, this should give clearance on outer edge of disc.

Handbrake shoe, remove calliper two bolts and one screw in disc, slacken cable off and pull disc off.
