Cleaned the car :)

Today I had a good opportunity to clean the car, and to be honest, it was only a quick rinse job, but I am quite please with the results. a few marks I havent noticed before, but all in all, not bad for an 8 year old car

Here are some pics of the finished article, opinions on what I could do next or any opinions at all, please share them

Remove your Christmas tree air freshener from behind your steering wheel, cost nothing, looks ten times better lol..

Thats a tidy lookin astra :thumbup:

You could get the door handles and rub strips painted same colour.

paint the ashtray and gear stick suround same colour as center part of dash then a irmy or richbrook vx gear knob 🙂

I am going to debadge it, but I don't want it to go wrong so what do you guys suggest? warm it up etc is it?

Looks good to me, silvers a great forgiving colour, one thing I miss about the vectra.
Do like those alloys too, I had those on my astra sport - best money I've ever spent on a mod.

kettle of boiling water on the badges and they just flick off, but dont try and pull em too quick otherwise you just tear the adhesive in half and it sticks to both badge and boot, then its a (unt to rub off :thumbdown:
get the corner loose and slowly work away!!
u do know the griffin on the mk4 cant go otherwise you are left with 2 holes dunno..

Yeah I know the griffin will leave me with that, I Don't think the Griffin will be going anywhere because I don't want to be doing any filling/sanding on my bodywork! ahh ok then, I will get to work today if the rain stays away! cheers mate 😉
