I reset the o2 map with my op-com but it is taking its time re-learning. Getting much better fuel consumption now as well, just got 170 miles on half a tank on my way home from work. I was getting 200 to a full tank!
Seems to be getting better the more I drive it. I didn't think it would take so long with the amount I drive, done over 1200 miles since I replaced the lambda sensor.
Only trouble I'm having now is I keep getting a crankshaft position sensor error which is bringing the EML, and twice a random multiple cylinder misfire.
I've read these engine don't have a crank sensor and it could really mean a coil pack problem or low compression. The garage who fitted the head checked the compression and said it was good. And the coil pack was also replaced when it started misfiring (they didn't know it was the lambda) I'm thinking the spark plugs may be under torqued as they cracked the first replacement head over-tightening them.
I'm terrified of touching them though cos I don't want a fourth new head until I've saved up for a Saab one. My house mate has a Vectra C with a Z20-NET under the bonet, I may try and swap the heads one day when he's not looking. :shh: 😃
