Dan150 Hi guys, I have a question....if I remove the precat using the how 2 guide, will I need to do anything else to the car to stop the eml coming on? Or will it be ok? Cheers in advance :0)
Dan150 Actually i have another problem lol! I'm sure that my sports cat is welded to the pipe that has the precat in, so I'm unable to remove the pipe at the cat end! Any ideas on how to get around this? Cheers, Dan
rod1-sri well if it is welded your only options are to either leave the pre cat on, or get the grinder out and reweld after mate.
JohnnyN You are probably right but after the sport cat on a Vectra there should be a 2 bolt flange connecting to the cat back section.
Dan150 Mines a weld in sports cat, so I think I will have to get it cut and then re-weld it after, cheers lads!
